Hello wonderful readers!

I am excited to share a progress on my book “If These Walls Could Talk”. Chapter 9’s research and draft are complete, and I’m evaluating whether to move straight to the final chapter or include one more family’s story. Behind the scenes, my manuscript is getting thorough reviews from different angles - storytelling, historical accuracy, and my husband’s keen eye for details.

I’m sharing my book writing Done-O-Meter, which shows I’m steadily moving tward cmpletion at 36 %. This tool helped me track the progress of my first book “Artful Adventures in Mixed Media” as well, showing where each chapter stands in different stages - from Draft to Review to Edit to Finalization.

The book writing Done-O-Meter keeping me on track and celebrating small steps!

Today, I am sharing a draft from Chapter 6 with my paid subscribers. Following my recent Ellis Island post, I think it’s fitting to share this story of a German family who pursued their American Dream before Ellis Island even existed.
